The 2025 Southeast Asia FemTech Market Map, published by FemTech Association Asia, provides a snapshot of a sector that is rapidly gaining momentum. With 111 startups across the region, it is clear that entrepreneurs, investors, ecosystem-builders and healthcare providers are starting to pay serious attention to women’s unique health needs.

The femtech ecosystem in Southeast Asia is clustered across six key markets with Singapore leading in the number of companies and investment since the launch of FemTech Association Asia in October 2021:

• Singapore: 45 startups

• Malaysia: 18

• Indonesia: 17

• Philippines: 11

• Vietnam: 11

• Thailand: 9

Singapore remains the anchor of the region, reflecting its maturity as both a startup and healthcare innovation hub, but growth across Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam shows promising diversification, localisation and cross-border expansion of solutions.

Projections for Southeast Asia indicate an increase in spending among current users of femtech products and services that will add a further approximately US$1.2 billion to the current market, a meaningful 20 percent increase. This increase is expected to be driven by 54 percent of non-users intending to adopt femtech plus about 80 percent of current users increasing their spending on products and services.
