About the Role

Professional Development:

Involvement in cross-functional team meetings to gain insights into the strategic planning of product lifecycle management
Exposure to regulatory and compliance aspects of healthcare product development
Primary Responsibilities:

Work closely with a network of technical, clinical, academic, regulatory and commercial partners to aid the development of CLCC’s drug delivery device
Design and model components using SolidWorks, including moulds, jigs, and custom fixtures for 3D printing
Contribute to the mechanical testing of product prototypes, ensuring functionality and design integrity
Management and communications with external partners including suppliers, partners, research affiliates, and universities
Secondary Responsibilities:

Support other members of the CLCC team where needed

Ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Appreciation for quality and regulatory requirements in line with ISO13485 and FDA guidelines

Desired Skills:

  • Proficiency in rapid prototyping and adept at design thinking methodologies

  • Expertise in Computer-Aided Design (CAD)

  • Mechanical testing

  • Excellent organisational competencies

  • Prior laboratory experience, sound grasp of lab protocols and safety procedures (optional)

Calla Lily Clinical Care is an award-winning women’s health company developing products for intravaginal drug delivery, based upon our proprietary Callavid® platform device technology. Initial target indications are in IVF and prevention of preterm birth and miscarriage.
